On November 4th, we took off for a global tour to showcase SD Xperience, the complete ‘nose to tail’ business aviation connectivity solution. Completing it in 9 days, we travelled 20,443 nautical miles for 44.2 total flight hours, testing 27 satellite beams and passing over 100GB of data. We tested 22 beams from 2 High Throughput Satellites (HTS), as well as 5 wide beam satellites on our partner Intelsat’s network. We met with members from five of our international offices, conducted two demonstration flights for customers and media, and had meetings with several other partners along the journey. The last leg of the trip was the 50th flight with the company’s GIV using the Intelsat FlexExec network!
SD Xperience kept our team synchronized every step of the way, using SD Scheduler, Cyber Security, FDF, and SD Pro seamlessly pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight.
This tour was such a success thanks to our partners Gulfstream, Intelsat, and Astronics who provided outstanding customer support throughout this trip – as well as our SD team both in the air and on the ground. The tremendous efforts of all involved made the SD Xperience Global Tour a great success.
