New Features in SD Pro

We are excited to introduce the latest updates to SD Pro®, including new modules for SD PostFlight and Training, the ability to modify FDF message recipients, and new SD Terms of Use.

SD PostFlight Module (Release Date: October 21, 2019)
SD launched a standalone SD PostFlight module at NBAA-BACE 2019. Previously offered as part of SD Scheduler, this module can now be activated separately and includes many upgrades to the existing functionality. For more information on SD PostFlight click here.

FlightDeck Freedom® – Modify Recipients (Release Date: November 21, 2019)
FlightDeck Freedom (FDF) Administrators can now modify FDF message recipients. To access the ‘Edit Recipient’ module, select the recipient view and search the recipient that will be modified. Once the recipient’s settings are being viewed, the ‘Edit Recipient’ option will display to the left of the search field. Click to launch the menu.

Once in the menu, the admin can update the email address, add or modify a name to associate with the email, and select the desired format for all Movement Messages. Once saved, this format will be applied to all Movement Reports, Position Reports, and Surpassed ETA Alerts sent to that recipient.

If a name is added to a recipient, it will be displayed on the screen along with the email address. Users are also able to search recipients by the friendly name.

Training Module Videos (Release Date: November 26, 2019)
A new Training module has been added to SD Pro available to all user roles. The first feature under the new module is SD Software training videos, including SD Pro, SD Scheduler and SD PostFlight.

Terms of Use (Release Date: December 11, 2019)
Upon first login of SD products, users will be presented with the Satcom Direct Terms of Use of software services. Users must read and scroll to the bottom to accept the terms in order to continue into the site. When the SD Terms of Use are updated, users will be prompted to re-accept.
