Entry into Service (EIS) – Your place or ours
Ever wonder what one of the largest hydraulic doors in the U.S. looks like? SD’s new Hangar and Wellness Center located at KMLB has one of the largest doors of its kind, at 138’ x 28.6’; that’s nearly 4,000 ft2. Amazingly, the door only takes 76 seconds to open or close. We recently hosted several domestic and international customers at the hangar that have taken advantage of SD’s Entry into Service (EIS) program that offers on-site instruction and technical support. The customers spent the day both in the training center and on wing, and took a tour of our Network Operations Center (NOC) at the World Headquarters campus.
The EIS program is mobile – our team of Technical Solutions Managers (TSMs) provides on-site training and support for new and existing customers at your facility, or if you prefer, at the SD Hangar in Melbourne. The TSMs will provide troubleshooting and solution development focusing on the SD Router and SD Pro, so your flight department personnel are confident and comfortable with the SD onboard services.
