Connecting with Customers 2019 Recap
Connecting with Customers (CwC) is about connecting with you. We created this annual event because we wanted to ensure that you have all the information and training tools available to optimize your user experience, while also demonstrating our appreciation of your support. CwC 2019 did not disappoint! The week was a perfect combination of industry education and customer appreciation. Guests had the opportunity to see world-renowned speakers Story Musgrave and Daniel Burrus, attend technology update sessions, and network with industry leaders.
We discussed satellite technology trends with our partners Inmarsat, Intelsat, Iridium, and Viasat. Each satellite operator shared their views on the current state of the industry, and what they have planned for the future. Some very exciting developments are underway in this space!
Derek Zimmermann, Gulfstream President of Customer Support, also joined us to share his views on the importance of innovation and continuous improvement to the customer experience. It was an honor to welcome him at our event.
Rolls-Royce, Aircraft Performance Group (APG), Universal Weather and Aviation, and World Fuel Services each provided hands-on demos of their solutions throughout the week. The advancements in these platforms are key, as synchronizing data across all aspects of flight operations to improve efficiency and safety is becoming increasingly important. We look forward to sharing more in the coming months about how these solutions work together with our SD Pro Operating System to optimize operations.
Another key focus each year at CwC is our technical training. Eight hours of IA Renewal training was offered this year, covering topics such as aircraft communication security, streaming media, and network troubleshooting techniques.
Overall, it was a productive and busy week, and we are grateful to our amazing sponsors for their support. The feedback from our attendees was very positive, and we look forward to seeing everyone next year!
